About Tim Ablett
Experience backed by practical understanding
Tim Ablett Solutions is the culmination of over 30 years of experience working across a number of sectors, from the motor trade, health and social care, education and emergency services. My experience was gained working in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
At least ten of those years were spent working in managerial roles, including being a Trustee Director of a local charity.
Whilst working I have gained a number of qualifications which have given me extensive knowledge to support my hands-on experience. These qualifications include:
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety
- BA (Hons) Criminology and Law
- Certificate in Education
- A1 Assessor Award
- Level 4 Health and Social Care
- Various Management qualifications

WorldSkills UK
My biggest achievement in education was training and coaching three students to compete in the WorldSkills UK final; one of whom went on to train towards representing Team GB. WorldSkills is a global competition which is the global hub for skills, excellence and development. Its aim is to raise standards through international benchmarking. All finalists were competing in the Health and Social Care sector. Only the top eight students in the country take part in the finals.
Opening new provision
Whilst working in the Health and Social Care sector I opened two accommodation projects for homeless males aged 16 and 17 as there was a gap in provision in the area that I work. This meant researching the marketplace, recruiting and training staff, marketing and overseeing the day-to-day running of the schemes.
